The middle school ministry at this church was themed in the fall of 2003 around the word "Radiate." The idea was to make the overriding work of the middle school ministry center on building teens that "reflected God's glory" through their daily lives.
The logo suggested was a nuclear-fallout shelter sign, which evoked the idea of radiation. A distressed version of the logo was developed. Posters and graphics included shots of nuclear power plants and some old photos of nuclear scientists from the 1950's that gave the theme a fun, retro feel.
