Impact

This is a poster design for a youth choir project for a sister church in our city. Given only a name to work with, a simple treatment suggesting breaking glass was used. The phrase "break me" on the poster is really a spiritual term with meaning for those who have studied the New Testiment, but also sounded cool thematically.

This was a very simple and fast design that took the obvious approach to the word--"impact" is showing something hitting and/or breaking something else.

Project specifications:
The logo was created from three stock photographs manipulated in Photoshop. The background photo of broken glass was blurred and over-saturated. The breaking glass is a color selection from another photograph that was reversed and layered on top of the background. The word "Impact" was sliced using a selection from a third stock photo to give it a broken look.
