Eclipse was the theme of a 2004 choir tour project. The idea was to build a presentation suggestive of the world "in a different light." We all live under the same sun. What if we could peel back that layer of light and look at things from another perspective? This idea was built on through video and drama throughout the presentation.

The Eclipse logo bears a vague resemblence to the old "2001: A Space Odyssey" look. There's also a little bit of "The Abyss" in the color choices. I would point to this as an example of how entertainment media on a related topic can influence design.
