Some logos are a joy to design and this was one of them. Our desire with the Communications Ministry logo was to capture the energy and excitement we want to generate for every area of the church. We wanted something that conveyed both our desire to be a power source for ministry, and at the same time, serve them effectively. And it had to be fun, of course.
The atom has Christ at its center, represented by the cross. The atom itself is symbolic of an energy source, and synonymous with creation and power. It's also something that can be harnessed and directed. The atomic power theme is furthered by this website, which uses "caution tape" graphics, industrial elements and a nuances of engineering drawings in borders and colors.
