Aligning Dreaming Planning Organizing Serving Celebrating Learning Ministry Communicorps
Axis

This single adult ministry's weeknight evening worship and teaching time for young adults got a new identity after a staff change. After going through dozens of options, we chose Axis as a name. Axis is not original--we found several churches using the name for various ministries. Because of our single adult ministry was built around a "revolution" theme, we thought the name Axis reflected the life-turning nature of the program, and tied in well with the overall theme of the ministry.

The Axis logo is a simple oval and modern lettering. The stylized "X" and the round shape was meant to suggest an axis of rotation or coordinates on a global surface.
