| Let me shed some light on the Secret Formula and what it can do for a church's communications ministry. Each of these six areas of responsibility involve a different process and yield a measurable result:

Intention. The process of aligning ourselves to God's mission, vision and purpose for the church, leads to communications that are conformed to the plan of Christ for His Church.
Imagination. The process of dreaming, or brainstorming ideas, leads to communications that are creative and original.
Innovation. The process of planning, or bringing ideas to life through ministries and events in an original way, leads to a coordination among ministry areas and media forms that gains attention.
Integration. The process of organizing, or working to bridge ministries and events beyond specific agendas so they function together, leads to a consistent and clear messsage.
Involvement. The process of serving, or having volunteer participants at every step along the way, leads to a body of believers that is connected to the task of communicating.
Inspiration. The process of celebrating, or sharing God's work in and through the lives of individuals and the church and giving Him the praise, leads to a communications ministry that honors Christ first and effectively serves His Kingdom.
See "Aligning" section for more on using "intention".
Bloggity Goodness
The Communicorps Blog is my way of saying, "Hey, here's more content to look at that's not at this website and that I update more often." See, saying "blog" is much shorter. Go there now...
Dream a Little Dream
Take a trip through your imagination. Frolic in the mind and pick up an idea or two. Go ahead and daydream. It's okay. Nobody is looking. Close your eyes.
