Discipleship

The process of studying the Bible and applying it to daily life. This term is primarily used in the North American evangelical church to denote study and application for personal life improvement ("self-help"). Because the term's current use often fails to connect study and application with reproduction and multiplication among a group of disciples, it should not be considered a full interpretation and practice of the biblical process of disciple-making.
