About the "World" Design
I am a strong believer in the global nature of the church and her mission--both as a body and individually. Here, the earth graphic serves to focus on the mission. The divided color implies crossing barriers or uniting of different groups. The logo works well in all size applications.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone coated color selector): Pantone 3282U and Warm Gray 5U. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).
Typeface Used: Matrix by Emigre (Click here for purchase information). Matrix is a complete reworking of the original Matrix type family which was designed by Zuzana Licko in 1985. The original Matrix design was created for dot matrix printers. This version was updated for the laser printer, with strong straight strokes. I've used the text face in this example, which holds up well in all caps.
