About the "Word" Design
I really like this design because it features by the cross and the Word--the two central elements of our faith in Christ. The logo implies a church that studies and obeys the word--so use this design with specific intent. The logo communicates well at all size applications.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone coated color selector): Pantone 2593U and 286U. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).
Typeface Used: Matrix by Emigre (Click here for purchase information). Matrix is a complete reworking of the original Matrix type family which was designed by Zuzana Licko in 1985. The original Matrix design was created for dot matrix printers. This version was updated for the laser printer, with strong straight strokes. The tall version is an interesting display font that works well for a unique logo.
