About the "Thorns" Design
The gospels speak of a crown of thorns being placed on Jesus' head during his crucifixion. This stylized crown is a reminder of His sacrifice, and also in an interesting way, of His royalty and divinity. The logo works well at all size applications, appearing as circular and sedate from a distance, and sharp when up close.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces

Typeface Used: Leawood by ITC (Click here for purchasing information). ITC Leawood was begun by designer Les Usherwood and finished by his talented staff at Typsettra in Toronto, Canada, after his untimely death. The typeface features small, well-defined serifs which aid legibility and allow for close spacing. Like the typeface Optima, ITC Leawood also displays emphasized strokes with a slight flare.
