About the "Sunray" Design
The idea of Christ as the light of the world is seen in this design, which is a playful take on rays of light. The curves and flair add a very modern look and give the logo some motion. The design works well at larger sizes but loses some dimension and detail at smaller sizes.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone coated color selector): Pantone 130U and 159U. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).
Typeface Used: Clarendon by Monotype (Click here for purchasing information). The first Clarendon was introduced in 1845 by R. Besley & Co, The Fan Street Foundry, as a general purpose bold for use in conjunction with other faces in works such as dictionaries. In some respects, Clarendon can be regarded as a refined version of the Egyptian style and as such can be used for text settings, although headline and display work is more usual.
