  About the "Purpose" Design
For several years I served a church that adopted the popular Purpose Driven model as an organizational tool. This logo is a reference to that model in the diamond shape with the cross (Christ) at the center.

  Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone coated color selector): Pantone 215C and Warm Gray 8C. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).

Typeface Used: Myriad Pro by Adobe (Click here for purchasing information). I think this is among the most beautiful and useful of the new breed of OpenType san serif faces. You'll recognize this font in use widely--it's currently Apple Computer's typeface of choice for their products. It's so popular, it comes in literally dozens of weights and varieties. In the example, I've used the condensed black and condensed light weights.
