About the "Outbound" Design
Here I wanted to suggest the idea of the church reaching beyond its own walls. The logo both suggests outreach and forward momentum. The logo works well at all size applications.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone coated color selector): Pantone 299U and 297U. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).
Typeface Used: Stone Sans by ITC (Click here for purchasing information). A beautiful and modern san serif face by Sumner Stone. It reminds me of Optima, though the shapes have been subtly improved so that the strokes are of more equal weight. This font works well as a display font and as a text face. Here I've used both the medium and black weights.
