  About the "Living" Design
The green leaf design conveys life, nature (God's creation) and spring, or rebirth. I especially like the pen and ink drawn style in this logo, which has a more handmade appearance than many of the graphics I've worked with. the logo works surprisingly well at small sizes, and in black and white.

  Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone coated color selector): Pantone 358C and 361C. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).

Typeface Used: Cochin by Linotype (Click here for purchasing information). Georges Peignot designed Cochin based on copper engravings of the 18th century and Charles Malin cut the typeface in 1912 for the Paris foundry Deberny & Peignot. The font is named after the French engraver Charles Nicolas Cochin (1715-1790). The font displays a curious mix of style elements and could be placed as a part of the typographical Neorenaissance movement. Cochin is especially large and wide and was hugely popular at the beginning of the twentieth century.
