About the "Free" Design
I wanted to suggest absolute freedom in Christ with this very modern design, featuring the image of a person in "mid-jump", arms and legs oustretched, looking up. The image suggests a female, but it is less about a person than about their position or attitude toward life. This logo could prove polarizing in a more conservative environment, and loses some of its luster in black and white, and at small sizes.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone uncoated color selector): Pantone 144U, Process Black U and 155U. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).
Typeface Used: Modula by Emigre (Click here for purchasing information). In 1985, Emigre co-founder and designer Zuzana Licko created Modula as her first high resolution typeface on a Macintosh. Becase of the computer's inability to create high quality curves, Licko maximized its strength to produce perfectly constructed geometric elements to create the type.
