About the "Flourish" Design
The focus of this logo is the original Greek cross shape, circa 1500 BC, and often still used as a Christian symbol. The fine lines and tiny rounded ends give the logo a delicate appearance. It reminds me a bit of the lead frames used in stained glass windows. Though it does not reproduce well in small sizes, its simple overall shape communicates clearly in most applications.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone coated color selector): Pantone 696C and 722C. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).
Typeface Used: Erasmus by Red Rooster Collection (Click here for purchasing information). Based on the S. H. de Roos design, Amsterdam Foundry circa 1923. This face has the elegance of the stately Trajan, but with a lower-case option that makes it suitable for a wider range of applications.
