About the "Echurch" Design
An unabashed attempt to go for an "internet" type design. Though I'm not at all engaged in the "net church" movement, I do think there maybe some applications for a modern design such as this. I tried to incorporate a cross in the look but to also keep it somewhat "electronic" in appearance. The logo does now function well at small point sizes due to its detail. It is an interesting design, but I am the first to admit it has limited application.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone coated color selector): Pantone 645C and 129C. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).
Typeface Used: Eurostile by URW (Click here for purchasing information). Terribly modern, Eurostile's clean lines and square shape are a bit retro-cool. The key to using this font effectively is wide, open spacing, and a sparing use of embellishments. Treat it simply, and it will carry well. Use without caution, and it will likely age poorly.
