About the "Detail" Design
In this cross-shaped logo, I wanted a modern look. I took inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural style, then gave the logo a warm, dark green tone to convey richness and strength. I hope this logo conveys the beauty and complexity of a relationship with Christ. The logo works well in all size applications, though it might lose a little detail at extremely small sizes.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone coated color selector): Pantone 362C, 384C and 612C. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).
Typeface Used: Obelisk by ITC (Click here for purchasing information). ITC Obelisk is the work of British designer Phill Grimshaw. He classified his typeface as "glyphic" in style, meaning chiseled rather than calligraphic in form. ITC Obelisk is a legible, elegant text typeface. Here I've used the small caps style to give the logo a squared-off appearance.
