About the "Depth" Design
This design uses a plant metaphor to suggest both roots--foundation--and growth--maturity. The complex dot design representing the soil may not hold up well at small sizes, and the logo itself is oddly shaped, but it does hold interest with its unique asthetic.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone coated color selector): Pantone 1585C, 1935C and 724C. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).
Typeface Used: Helvetica Neue by Linotype (Click here for purchasing information). Tried and true, you just can't go wrong with Helvetica. This modernized take includes a number of weights from ultra light to black, which makes possible a variety of looks with the same basic type design.
