About the "Crossroad" Design
The cross is displayed prominently in this particular design. My desire was to some dimension with the stripes in the foreground, a subtle reference to "by His stripes we are healed." The colors here are earthen and muted. I was thinking of the day to day walk of the Christ-follower when I designed this. The logo works well at all sizes.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone coated color selector): Pantone 384C, 500C, 193C and 1945C. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).
Typeface Used: Triplex by Emigre (Click here for purchasing information). A versatile face that comes in both san serif and serif varieties. I like the uniform thickness of the characters which make the face readable from a distance--much like a highway sign. Subtle curving of some letterforms--like the lowercase "e"--adds a modern flair.
