About the "Compass" Design
The simple round shape and compass point flower instantly communicate direction and navigation, which can be applied to our lives in Christ. I used gold and brown colors to give the suggestion of brass. The logo works well at all sizes.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone coated color selector): Pantone 724C, 129C. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).
Typeface Used: Hiroshige by URW (Click here for purchasing information). Another modern face with old roots, Hiroshige has a decidedly Asian hue with its angled strokes and thick/thin variations, mirroring the brush strokes of a Chinese calligrapher. It's generally thick appearance and generous round counters make it very legible at small point sizes.
