  About the "Arch" Design
This design went through several iterations before being represented here as a modern look for a rainbow. The rainbow is a symbol of God's covenant to never destroy the earth again by flood--so the image itself suggests promise and hope. I like the way the offset petals of the logo give it a sense of forward motion. This design is simple, easily seen from a distance, and works well in one color. Another option might be to represent the logo in rainbow colors to further clarify the primary metaphor.

  Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone uncoated color selector): Pantone 293U and Warm Gray 9U. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).

Typeface Used: Trade Gothic LH Extended by Adobe (Click here for purchasing information). This is mid-twentieth-century typeface with an extended look that appears quite modern. I really like the serious yet casual look the typeface gives in all-lower-case.
