About the "Anchor" Design
We often hear Christ or the Gospel referred to as an "anchor", which is a fitting metaphor for a spiritual foundation in life--one that is held firmly and will not stray. This is a modern metaphor, as Christ never referred to Himself as an anchor. The simple logo has the subtle shape of the cross in its top form, and the rounded diamond enclosing shape suggest a road or navigation sign.
Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone uncoated color selector): Pantone 325U and 328U. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).
Typeface Used: Saturday Sans by Image Club (Click here for purchasing information). This is a modern, soft-edge and slightly compressed san-serif font, which I think goes well with the nautical theme of the logo.
