  About the "Affection" Design
A bright red heart radiates light in the form of yellow-orange rays. The logo suggests love that is shared with all those around, and love as the source of light. It is a simple design that presents an abstract concept simply and positively. This logo works well with type below or to the side. It will reproduce well at all sizes. The graduated colors in the rays of light might be simplified to a solid color to reduce printing cost.

  Suggested Colors and Typefaces
Color selections (spot colors based on Pantone uncoated color selector): Pantone 1788U, 1505U and 108U. Process color options can be explored using the available Layered Photoshop File (PSD).

Typeface Used: Hoefler Text by Hoefler & Frere-Jones (Click here for purchasing information). This is a reserved, old-style block typeface that may work well for the logo. I have used an all-caps treatment, but an all-lowercase treatment may also work well and could make the logo appear softer and more casual.
