Why is this here? In talking with North American church leaders each week for more than 20 years, I've found logo and identification design seem to be among the most common promotional challenges, especially for smaller congregations. Good custom logo design is expensive--anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand dollars. I pray providing these designs will help churches steward their financial resources elsewhere, while giving them professional and consistent media.

I don't believe you'll just take a design and use it "as is", but I hope that these provide some level of inspiration for your own logo needs.

How to pick a logo I thought you said branding wasn't important How to use a logo

What is a logo? A logo is broadly used to identify an organization within a culture or marketplace. In the promotion of the church, most leaders will develop a logo to use uniquely and consistently in its various media.

About the logos. These logos are provided as high resolution Photoshop and TIF files. InDesign layouts and additional layered files for some designs are also available. I've created logos that are primarily two-dimensional and limited in color scope. This form of logo is the most widely usable and cost-conscious. They can be used on letterhead and print media, online, on t-shirts, the side of a vehicle--wherever. By limiting colors, they can be run on smaller printing presses, resulting in less expensive printing costs. A few of the choices fall outside these parameters.
